TOTAL CHAOS now offers stock length replacement lower control arms for the FJ Cruiser and incorporate 1” uniball’s that replace factory lower ball joints. Lower pivots include replaceable urethane pivot bushings & zerk fitting for easy maintenance. Many customers do not want to install fiberglass fenders or increase the track width with a long travel system, but they crave the aftermarket performance benefits of increased dampening with dual shock capability and the added strength of the lower uniball conversion. TC designed an internally gusseted boxed lower control arm and integrated a ¼” thick steel skid plate. Lower shock mount tabs utilize a stock replacement shock. TC’s billet lower uniball conversion bolts directly to the spindle and is also included. These arms can be installed using a single 2.5” lift coil over shock with the factory bump stop. You can upgrade to a Light Racing* Jounce bump stop or add a secondary 2.5” smooth body shocks for maximum dampening and control. Maximize travel and strength! Dual shocks will require trimming of the factory bump stop mounts. A TC bump stop relocation bracket will have to be installed. The TOTAL CHAOS secondary shock hoops system sold separately.
